9/28/03 - PEMCO Good Credit "Discount"
This is interesting. First they up the rates across the board, and then they give you the "discount."
It is especially noteworthy that you need to have an 800 or higher insurance score to get the maximum discount.
Few people will complain - after all, just about everybody gets a discount, with scores as low as 550.
"Your insurance score is 724. Because it is so high, you receive a 25% discount this year ..."
Only very few people are smart enough to realize that this statement also means that their "so high" score is costing them hard cash.
This is a DECLINE letter and it can be used to establish damages in court.
