7/97 Ex-husband opened account and had me as auth user even though I didn't know about account. 3/98 Filed for divorce and saw account on his disclosures. 4/98 He sent FUSA letter removing me as auth user. 10/98 He filed Ch 7 11/03 TU reporting account closed - bankruptcy other party; EQ reporting same. 11/04/03 Sent FUSA letter requesting removal. 11/21/03 EQ and TU now state account sold to another lender; charge-off I am at a loss as to what to do now with FUSA. |

Dispute with the bureaus as FORMER AU. You don't want to send disputes to original creditors UNLESS you're about to sue AND you also submitted your factual disputes to the CRAs. Disputing with the original creditor doesn't give you an FCRA violation you can sue for. |
