First North American National Bank counsel Kenneth H. Edwards wrote on 12/22/03: "My review of the case shows that FNANB did have a permissible purpose to review your credit bureau [sic] after the bank was notified of your Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing in March 2003. After FNANB determined that it had closed your credit account at an earlier date, it closed its 2003 bankruptcy file. FNANB has taken no action outside the scope of the law or with improper motive or intent. As is required by most courts, I will be glad to discuss this case with you in January to determine whether we can resolve this matter without litigation. I will attempt to contact you .... "
