6/24/03: Household Motion to Dismiss, or in the alternative, Motion to Compel Arbitration
Arbitration sucks for consumers, and that's of course why just about EVERY contract contains a mandatory arbitration clause.
Great links about fighting mandatory binding arbitration
Household promised correction/deletion of their credit reporting. They lied again and again, lying scum is what they are.
They ignored my small claims suit.
Household demands arbitration when in 5 years of disputes and after being served with the filed complaint TWICE - they NEVER ONCE offered any kind of settlement!
Check out Exhibit A: It makes NO sense, the last 4 pages are completely unreadabe. It's not the scans, that's what they sent me and I assume submitted to the court.
As much as I want people to sue these lying and unscrupulous creditors/collectors/CRAs - it NEVER occurred to me to suggest to anyone to sue right after a creditor gave them the written promise to delete.
When I get upset about the Household contempt for me, their complete disregard for my damages, not only the financial damages, but ruining what SHOULD have been the best time in my life, I just remind myself that I can't lose.
Household may not write a check to me, but they'll be writing checks to my readers and clients.
SUE, people, SUE! Better today than tomorrow!
