This is in response to your fax we received on June 11, 2002.
Our records indicate your Stafford loan 001 defaulted on February 23, 1989 and was paid May 20, 1996. There is no record that your defaulted loan was paid through the loan rehabilitation program. In addition to the rehabilitation paperwork that needed to be completed, the rehabilitation program required that you made 12 monthly consecutive on-time monthly payments. A review of your payment history shows no payments were received in December 1995, January 1996, or March 1996.
Your student loan will appear on your credit bureau as a defaulted Federal student loan, which is now paid in full, until May 30, 2003.
